Navel-gazing and site maintenance
Because this blog hasn't quite reached vulgar levels of self-promotion, I've added to the sidebar a section called "Published Work." It's right there, below "Other Places." The title links will take you to publisher previews of those issues. I'm crafty that way.
That's everything I've had published in just over two years -- my first short story appeared in Digital Webbing Presents #11, released in October 2003 -- for a total of 48 pages.
I'm a little surprised by that figure, not because it's at all impressive, at least in the grander scheme of things, but because it's more than I would've guessed. You see, I'm not a very prolific writer. I envy, at least a little bit, those writers I see on message boards who write script after script, just for the fun or the practice or to have some Superman sample to show to a drunken editor at the next convention.
They're the writers who always have something on hand when, on rare occasion, an artist approaches them and says, "Hey, I have some down time between projects. You have a short story I could bang out?" That's happened to me a few times, but I'm always focusing on the story I'm trying to publish. I never have any scripts gathering dust.
So, 48 pages. Hm. I guess I should get to work ...

Hey, that's 40 more than I have. Of course by Summer I'll be up to 24.
Still only half as much ... Damn you Melrose.

Hmmmm... I've only had 31 pages published, so far..... but this year (Summer, hopefully!) will see the release of mine and A. David Lewis' EMPTY CHAMBER book that clocks in at 66 pages!
This is the year I'm pushing hard to get multiple projects out. I want to make some serious progress in the Comics world.
Maybe even make some money! ha ha

What's this "money" of which you speak?

Sadly, it's the stuff that comes out of my bank account faster than it goes in.
